NH Hotels (Düsseldorf City Nord) – Düsseldorf Germany

NH Hotels Düsseldorf City Nord is located (as it’s name states) in the northern part of Düsseldorf. The hotel is quite large, with seemingly never-ending hallways (fun to race down).  The rooms here are modern, comfortable, and sized well.  The large windows that open fully are amazing if you like fresh air as much as I do.  However, you’ll want to watch that cross breeze, as it will be slamming doors shut every time you walk in and out of the room.

The staff is very friendly and helpful (even if you’re in a grouchy mood, as I was upon check-in).  The front desk clerk can tell you how to get to, and around on, the train system.  Anything you may need will be at your room 2 minutes after calling.  Also, they will take care of mailing packages or letters from the hotel desk if necessary.

If you’re here to relax, take advantage of the sauna.  There is also a fitness center for guest use.  When you get hungry, head over to the wonderful Trattoria Zucchero for some amazing Italian food, about a three minute walk from the hotel.
