6 tbsp butter (at room temperature)
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup all purpose flour
Your favorite fruit preserves.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
To save time, I like to cut my butter into sections, place it in a metal mixing bowl, and put it on top of the preheating oven to warm it up. Add the sugar to the softened butter and mix until they become a smooth paste.
Combine flour with this paste and mix until dough is evenly crumbly. Divide evenly into a 12 piece muffin tray, and stamp down into bottom until solid.
Top with your favorite fruit preserves, and bake for 15 minutes.
Done. Easy breezy, right? Now enjoy for about a week.
