Selinunte, Sicily

The modern town of Selinunte and the ancient Grecian ruins (Selinus) seem to hug each other on this coast.  From the ruins above the view of the seemingly layered town on the beach is almost as stunning as viewing the ruins sitting atop the hilltop from it.  Scattered spaciously from the main archeological site are other solitary temples, as seen in the background of this photo.
